DESCRIPTION
Perched on the edge of a volatile volcanic landscape, is A research station designed to harness geothermal energy. Now overtaken by demonic forces, the facility is on the brink of collapse as the surrounding volcano threatens to erupt. As you navigate through industrial corridors and research labs, you'll encounter both tight, claustrophobic spaces and wide, open arenas filled with enemies.
GOAL
My goal with Eruption Facility was to master Ultimate Doom Builder while designing a fast-paced, engaging level for Doom II. I focused on creating a dynamic game play experience where players are quickly empowered with new weapons and power-ups to efficiently battle waves of demons. I aimed to balance intense, close-quarters combat with larger, open arenas, providing variety in both pacing and strategy. Through this project, I honed my skills in level design, enemy placement, and environmental storytelling within the classic Doom engine.
